Understanding Khushi (Chapter 43)

Chapter 43

On the way to the hospital, khushi told Arnav why she kept Poorav and Poorvi away. She told him that her parents were killed in the car accident by her own chacha for the property.Her dad was a huge cotton vendor with 3 cotton factories which earned veryt handsomely. Her father had been trapped in a twisted will in which all the property was on her name along with a clause that if anything happens to her the property shall go to the trust.And Poorav and Poorvi will get one third each of their share after they turn 21, but if they die before that their share of property goes to the khushi. So his chacha wanted to kill Poorav and Poorvi so that Khushi becomes the sole owner than he can somehow blackmail her into giving her property to him. So since he could not kill Khushi because of the will, he wanted to trap her by blackmailing her into by threatening life of Poorav and Poorvi and then later actually kill them. Her massi now her amma had heard all this and helped them escape. Her babuji had left Kanpur, all his well settled business of best misthan bandhar which had 5 branches all for her family and toiled for new life in lucknow. After that that is why she sent both of them away. And now since they were 21 and according to will, her chacha could not do any harm now.She told him about when Poorav and Poorvi had turned up surprise at payal’s marriage which broke in Lucknow, her wicked chacha had come to kill them as only an year was left for them to turn 21, so it was his last chance and she had sent them away immediately before the marriage itself, not risking anything.

Arnav was filled with fury. His, own chacha did something similar.

Khushi further told him about the 3 cotton factories that her dad had left were now closed just because of her chacha. And hence why source of income was in such crises for her.

Arnav assured her that he would help her revive her dad’s factories and Poorav can see into their functioning which he can automate from delhi itself. And those cotton fabric industries can supply their raw materials to AR industries.

This proposal enlightened her grave mood and to further enhance it he teased her further.

Arnav: you know Khushi you made me even richer and AR even bigger,

now AR will be in collaboration with one more industry. See you are the biggest deal of my life. Always profitable.

Khushi: frowned and then smiled and said……………………..you are truly a shrewd

               business man. Searching profits at all chances. But thank you.I know all

this collaboration thing  and job for Poorvi at AR is just to make sure    that you can keep them protected under your shadow. I know rest all that profit thing is bullshit. I am glad that I found you. I will be really tension free if they both remain under your guidance.

Arnav: I will make sure they do. I know how innocent they are and how manipu

lative this world is. I will allow no one to hurt them. And I will be more   careful for Poorvi because though she is sharp and smart, but still she  has a pure heart like you. I have a plan for her which for now I will not tell you…..so don’t ……………..

Khushi: I trust you. I don’t need to ask you anything. I have found a perfect

father for her.  She already had a protector in Poorav. Now she has      you too.

Soon they pulled at the hospital. Arnav held her hand firmly and said “remember….. give me all your fears and take my strength. Hold me tight and we will fight it out.  Trust me all our nok jhok filled life ahead is worth it.”

Khushi held him tighter and said “Don’t let me go just hold me tight and I know I am safe “

Arnav: hamesha.I will. ( Always)

They went and met the doctor, Ms. Sifiana and she handled the matter very positively and assured them of the best. She conducted several tests on Khushi which ran for two hours.

After the tests were done she told Arnav that the detailed results will come in 2 days time, as of now the cancer seems to be in initial stages and the surgery will be good option as it will remove her cancerion cyst completely and no painful chemotherapy sessions shall be required.

She suggested admitting Khushi after 2 days to which Arnav complied. She told him that they will keep khushi under observation for one day and then operate her the next day. The surgery will take nearly 5-6 hours. After that post operation she will be kept in hospital more minimum 15 days as post care is very important. After that he can take her home. And within two month she will heal almost completely. Though, she told him that the operation scar will take some 6 months to go away.

She prescribed a few medicines for two days.

Arnav asked a few queries and then told her that he does not care about the scar at all, it is just her that he wants to see fit and fine.

Doctor Sifiana wished them luck and bid them good bye.

The ride back home was silent. Khushi was tired and was leaning over Arnav, her head on his shoulder and one arm wrapped on his left hand and other on his torso. It felt peaceful. Just a few days back she was willing to die just because she thought he would leave her and now even the thought of her thinking something like that sent him into throngs of anger bouts. His love was unconditional, unbound and untamed.  

She wondered how he claimed to not love when he knew nothing other than love, Laad governer.  I will pinish him for not confessing loving me before.

When they reached home, it was late afternoon 4.30 and he saw that Khushi was asleep. She was tired. Arnav carefully pulled down and carried her not breaking her sleep to the door. He ringed the bell to be received by entire family to whom he indicated to keep quite indicating sleeping khushi. He went to his room followed by others,all worried. After laying her down and tucking her he turned to their peeping family outside the door. Worry on all faces. Before they could fire questions he answered “Khushi is fine, nothing happened, she is just tired after the tests and fell asleep in the car. Nothing to worry”

He heard a collective sigh of relief.

Later he filled everyone about the schedule and asked NK to coordinate with people back at home too.

Understanding Khushi (Chapter 42)

Chapter 42

And with tears in her eyes she said

Khushi: Don’t you worry at all. Aisa ho sakta hai kya ki hum chod kar jana

chahe or yeh hume jane de(looking at arnav).

(even if I try to leave, Arnavji would never allow me to do so)

 He has already threatened me with all kinds of possible blackmails.

He actually doesnot know what he has called upon himself for a

lifetime. Main tum sab ko chod kar kahin nahi jane wali.

Cupping their faces with her hands 

Khushi: Even I have waited each day for you two to come back to me and I

              am at no cost will leave this chance ever. So don’t worry.

The all three hugged and sometime later Poorav and Poorvi left to settle their rooms leaving both in the study.

As soon as they left, he came and hugged her from behind snaking his arms around her stomach. He nibbled her earlobes from behind and nuzzled in her exposed neck kissing there. A moan escaped her mouth too at his attack on her senses.

                              

Khushi: Arnaaaaaaaaaaaav…………………………………………………

Arnav: you unmane me. I can not get enough of you. You smell so edible all the

             time. You keep assaulting my senses. Now, what were you saying about

            me having called upon something upon me for lifetime then let me

            enlighten you about my intentions sweetheart……………

Khushi: intensions………………??

Arnav: First………………..

Khushi: What first ……..tell me na………….

Arnav: First I want you too claim your full rights on me in front of my,those

             cheeky and clingy models. They ought to know that there is only one

             girl who can have power over the ASR.

 Khushi: second………??

            I want you to get pregnant with my kids, demand crazy things from me  and I   want to………………….

            See your sexy round full belly.

Third …………..

I want you to take you to places, I always wanted to see all over the world. A trip every year just for the two of us. Our alone time.  And to my fashion shows all over the globe.

Khushi: but what about when we have kids????

Arnav:  you know there is advantage of having a joint family and that too a

            huge one. I hope they can manage for one week. Then we shall have

           a family trip too for one week.

Khushi wanted to enquire more, but stopped and instead wanted him to

continue with his list of intensions.

Arnav:  Fouth………………

              I will not let you sleep till late at night each day. I will

              not let you sleep in the moring. I will  be very demanding in bed.

              So you better not complain.

Khushi was blushing hard. His intensions were getting wild.

   

Arnav:  Fifth………I have a bag full of fantasies. I want to make wild passionate

             love to you at places you don’t imagine and in ways you can not think.

 Sixth…………………I remember you having punishments for me. I wait  eagerly for them.

And many more which I don’t remember right now. I am business man

So it is not what I have called upon but its that……..now that you have promised me all this, I wont let you back away. I have tasted life khushi and now I am addict to it. So there are no two ways.

 Khushi: I promise………………………….. I will try to fulfil each of it word by word.

               Except the fourth one, trust me if you donot let me sleep, I will not let

              you work. I will engage you in that same night activity in day time too

              that too in your office. Don’t take it lightly.

Arnav: (smirked) good, even better for me. You know,I don’t mind. Actually

a good idea. How it skipped my brain.Hey I remember one more……. I want to see you misuse your power on me. Anyways lets get ready and

leave for hospital before I loose control and make love to you right here.

Khushi turned and hit him and hid herself in his chest.

Arnav after sometime asked her to get ready to leave for the hospital.They bid everyone good bye and left.

Understanding Khushi (Chapter 41)

Chapter 41

Arnav asked Poorav and Poorvi to follow him to the study quiety whereas Khushi was engaged by Anjali di and NK. Arnav closed the door to the study and asked both of them to sit down. Tightening his knucles he gained strength.

Arnav: I know what I am going to tell you is going to disturb you, weaken you and even distraught you, but you both need to calm down and listen to me very patiently please.

Poorav and Poorvi sensed something was serious. Both of them looked at eachother and then looked expectedly at Arnav to continue.

Arnav knew it will be very difficult for both of them to hold themselves together. But he knew they deserved to know everything.

With great difficulty he told them everything about Khushi’s illness and the course of treatment too. At the end of them Poorvi was all in tears and Poorav was looking like a lost puppy, his eyes too were misty. Arnav could see them breaking down. He immediately did what he di always did. He bent down and hugged both of them together. He pulled them closer. Poorvi hugged him tighter and sobbed on his chest. After a while Poorav pulled out, controlling himself while Poorvi still clung to him.

Poorvi after a while composed herself and wiped her tears.

Poorvi: Jijaji, jiji ko theek kardo please. Unhe baccha lo please. Unhe nahi kho sakte hain hum. She is the only one we have. She is the only family. Please Please, I beg you……………………………………..

She fell back sobbing into his chest. Arnav pulled her closer and kept his hand on her head stroking her like a daughter. He after a while pulled her apart, cupping her face in his hands.

Arnav: Look at me. Listen to me carefully. I will not let anything happen to her. (He pulled her hand and kept her hand on his heart.) Do you feel my heartbeats? They beat only when khushi is with me. She is my heart. It is not possible for me to live even a second without her. I will not let anything happen to her. Anything that tries to touch her must pass through me to reach her. So don’t worry she will get well soon.

Poorvi was still sobbing and Arnav held her and kept stroking her hair like a small child. After a while Arnav spoke “I know it is very difficult for all of us. But we need to stay strong for her. She is already very vunerable and we will not be able to bear any of us breaking down. She will draw her strength from us. We need to create positivity all around her. And trust me I will not let anything happen to her.  I will be taking her to hospital today. Everything will be finalised today. We are already in talks with them. Almost everything has been finalised. They have seen her reports and are very positive as her cancer is at very early phase. Nothing to worry“

Poorav: Jijaji I guess you take her alone. Poorvi is still so vunerable and I guess

Poorvi and I shall need some time to compose ourselves. I have full faith that Devi maiya will not let anything to happen to our mother and crusader.

With a full bang opened the door to the study and Khushi burst in saying “Arnavji……………………” (But seeing the all three there is stopped midway.)

The expression on the three faces of her beloveds told her what Arnav might have told them and next moment told her exactly that when Poorvi came flying to her and pulled her in a tight hug.

Poorvi: Jiji you have to get well soon for us and for jijaji. We all need you. Our

              Lives without you will not be worth living. So don’t you dare leave us.

              Samghi aap(understand that well). You have to get well.

Poorav: She is right jiji. We have for past 15 years counted each day just to

                get to you one day and live under your shadow, incessant love and

                care and scolding too. So please don’t you even think of anything

               else.

Khushi left a chuckle and then smiled on looking for a moment to Arnav and then pulled both of them closer, holding hands said

Khushi:  You both have started to behave like Arnavji. All those don’t you dare!           Ek hi raat main, inhone tum dono ko bi laadgoverner bana diya

               (in a single night he has made you both laadgoverner).
